Dr. Linda C. Pravinata


Dr. Linda Pravinata joined the teaching team in the School of Food Science and Nutrition at University of Leeds in August 2018.  She graduated her PhD from University of Leeds and continued with a postdoctoral post in the Food Colloids research group working on microgel particles fabrication, encapsulation, and foams/bubbles in confectionery model system.  Prior to this, she held a lectureship position at University of Pelita Harapan and served as an adjunct faculty at University of Atmajaya in Indonesia teaching food science courses. She also has spent more than 5 years in industry working for Frito-Lay of North America R&D (a snack food division of PepsiCo) in Plano, Texas, as a Product Development Scientist and for Nestle R&D in New Milford, Connecticut, as a Technical Assistant. She has a diverse background in academic and food industry experiences in UK, US, and Indonesia.
