I am a Masters by Research student with an interest in glaciology and the use of remote sensing to monitor glaciers. My research is currently focused in the Himalayan Mountains where a large proportion of the worlds mountain glaciers are located. I am interested in their change since the Little Ice Age, looking at their mass loss (area, volume and elevation change) to aid in the understanding of how much ice has been lost since the last period of glacial growth.
