I joined the University of Leeds in October 2017 to start my NERC studentship. I am part the Biosphere and Atmosphere (BAG) and Physical Climate Change (PCC) groups. I was previously at the University of Exeter, where I studied an integrated Masters in Mathematics.
My research focusses on the changing relationship between the atmosphere and biosphere, particularly relating to the exchange of Carbon Dioxide during the spring uptake period.
My project utilises observational climatic data of temperature, precipitation and cloud cover. This is coupled with output from the Hysplit trajectory model, and the TOMCAT chemical transport model to infer changing behaviour relating to the relationship between terrestrial carbon uptake on a global scale.
