My PhD focuses on the behaviour of molybdenum in ocean sediments. By developing and applying new methods for the investigation of molybdenum sequestration in sediments I hope to provide a basis for better understanding paleoredox environments using this element.
I am supervised by Professor Caroline Peacock and Professor Simon Poulton at the University of Leeds, and Professor Fred Mosselmans and Diamond Light Source.
