I was born in Alicante, Spain in 1993. I lived there until I was 19, when I moved to Valencia where I graduated in Physics (finishing in 2016). During my last year in Physics, I did a year abroad at the University of Leeds, where I did my research project in Condensed Matter. During this year abroad, I decided to stay in Leeds to do a PhD in Atmospheric Science, which is what I am currently doing.
Using the FAAM aircraft, I collect aerosol samples in different locations and at different altitudes with a particular focus on studying the concentration and properties of aerosol particles which can nucleate ice. I also use Scanning Electron Microscopy techniques to study properties of individual atmospheric aerosol particles. So far I have collected and analysed particles in the UK, Iceland and Alaska.
