Profile
Sam Grainger is a postdoctoral researcher working with Suraje Dessai and Andrea Taylor on a project that aims to address challenges related to the treatment and communication of climate uncertainty in a Chinese decision making context. He works with programme partners at the UK Met Office and Chinese Meteorological Administration to better understand and address the uncertainty needs of Chinese users, and produce evidence based recommendations to information providers. This builds on his doctoral research which focused on developing the scientific basis for the use of tailored visualisations to support multi-actor water governance in Peru.
