Dr Marco Patacci

Profile

Marco holds a Bsc in Geology from Rome Tre University and a PhD from University College Dublin, gained with a thesis titled 'Termination of Turbidites against Confining Slopes: Flow Behaviour and Facies Trends'. Marco's research interests include the mechanics of sediment transport and the deposition of clastic sediment in the deep water, with particular focus on the behaviour of particulate gravity currents and on their interaction with subaqueous topography.
