Dr Marco Patacci


Marco holds a Bsc in Geology from Rome Tre University (2004) and a PhD from University College Dublin (2010), gained with a thesis titled 'Termination of Turbidites against Confining Slopes: Flow Behaviour and Facies Trends'. Marco's research interests include the mechanics of transport and deposition of clastic sediment in the deep water, with particular focus on the behaviour of particulate gravity currents and on their interaction with subaqueous topography.
