My research interest focuses on the climate change studies using global and regional climate models.

Since Jan 2018: I am currently working in the Climate Impact Group of Institute for Climate and Atmospheric Science. My work focuses on the use of seasonal forecast of the crop yield over Africa.

Nov 2014 - Dec 2017: I studied hydrological cycle over the Amazon basin using HadCM3. My duty was to perform factorial simulations with fixed and varying land cover and preindustrial and observed increasing greenhouse gas levels and analyse the model output.

Jan 2014 - Oct 2014: I was responsible to provide climate change information for the BIMSTEC countries (i.e. Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Thailand). I have studied the projected climate for the 21st century in RCP4.5 and 8.5 with multiple CMIP5 models over the BIMSTEC countries.

Jan 2007 - Dec 2013: PhD from IIT Delhi, India which looked at the behaviour of Indian summer monsoon in the past and project it under different RCP scenarios by Regional Climate Model (RegCM). I have examined the impact domain size on the model simulation. I had also studied the rainfall over six monsoon homogeneous zones of India during Indian summer monsoon.
