Dr Xianyun Wen


Xianyun obtained his PhD from the University of Chengdu of Science and Technology in Fluid Dynamics (1987). Xianyun has worked on a variety of engineering and industrial mathematical problems related to fluid mechanics and computational fluid dynamics. He has developed several novel CFD codes and has produced his own user-friendly CFD software package for turbulent flows, air-sea interaction. He has supervised 10 MSc students, 11 PhD students and 3 postdoctoral research fellows. He has published more than 95 research papers in internationally refereed journals.
