Dr Daniel Juncu
I am a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Leeds since 2018. Previously I have been at the University of Iceland, ETH Zurich, Switzerland, and RWTH Aachen University, Germany. My academic background is in Geophysics where I have worked on modelling of deformation processes, processing of geodetic data, bayesian optimization methods, and modelling of fluid dynamics.
In my current position I am part of the COMET and EUROVOLC projects. My research focusses on volcanic processes and how we can use satellite and field data, physical models and stochastic optimzation methods to better understand them.
Research projects

Any research projects I'm currently working on will be listed below.
