Mehri Khosravi


Mehri is a researcher with a strong interest in Environmental Science with a Ph.D. from Science and Research University in Tehran. She has a second Ph.D. in Environmental Science at the University of Liverpool. Her first PhD was centred around scenario analysis as a participatory approach in tourism sector, while her second PhD has focused on water management. Furthermore, Mehri has nine years of experience as an Environmental Consultant in Iran, working on projects such as the development of Master Plans and Spatial Plans, and preparing Environmental Assessment Reports.

Mehri joined the Sustainability Research Institute in 2019 to work on the climate service for water sector in China with focus on climate change projections. This research is an international collaborative project between the UK Met Office’s and China Meteorological Administration. The aim of this project is to produce a prototype climate service between climate scientists and water resource managers to support water decision-making in China.
