Research interests

I am working on the EXHALE project, whose focus is measurements of HONO and other radicals to better understand air pollution events, specifically in in China. Controlled measurements of HONO photo-production from ambient aerosol in the presence of NOx are made in a flow tube with photo-dissociation laser induced fluorescence. Box modelling, utilizing the Master Chemical Mechanism, and WRF-Chem simulations inform our interpretations of reactive gas phase measurements on secondary pollutants (ozone and secondary organic aerosol).
