Profile
I’m a climate-ice sheet modeller interested in understanding interactions among ice sheet, atmosphere and ocean. During my phD in Tokyo, I was investigating the processes by which changes in continental ice sheet modify the atmospehric and oceanic circulation using a comprehensive climate model. I also explored driving mechanisms of millenial time-scale climate and oceanic circulation variability focusing on the role of sea ice. In University of Leeds, I will be focusing more on the ice sheet side, and perform simulations of ice sheet-climate coupled system in the Last Deglaciation supervisded by Dr Ruza Ivanovic.
