Dr. Arash Kalatian
I am a Research Fellow in Choice Modelling and Machine Learning. As part of the NEXUS project, I work on combining machine learning and choice modelling techniques to better utilize novel data sources and capture traveller decisions in the changing mobility landscape. In winter 2021, I received a PhD in Transportation Engineering at LiTrans lab of Ryerson University, under the supervision of Bilal Farooq. My research interests mainly revolve around Cyber-Physical Transportation Systems, i.e. Virtual Reality and Ubiquitous Networks, and more specifically, their utilization and application in transportation behavioural studies.
