Profile
I am a WRDTP funded PhD student in the School of Geography. I am interested in the social value of the public procurement of sustainable food by Leeds City Council. I am also completing a PGCert in Social Research Methods, as part of the DTP.
I have been a demonstrator in School of Geography modules including GEOG2915 Geographies of Food and GEOG5973M Applied GIS and Retail Modelling.
I have previously been a research assistant working on with Bradford City Council and Leeds Foodwise to study the role and impact of Bradford’s St James’ Wholesale Market between December 2024 - July 2025.
I have worked in the food production and hospitality industry for a number of years in various roles, most recently with breweries helping to measure carbon footprints of products, value in supply chains and accredited Carbon Literacy Training. In January 2026 I received seed funding from the Global Food and Environment Institute to establish a sustainable brewing network for West Yorkshire and neighbouring regions.
