Profile
Currnetly a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Leeds, I have previously worked as a Research Assistant at Durham University.
Research interests
My research focuses on developing and applying numerical methods to study problems in geophysics and planetary science. I am particularly interested in using physics-informed neural networks (PINNs) to understand how fluid motion in Earth’s outer core generates the planet’s magnetic field.
I have also developed numerical methods to improve the treatment of fluid mixing in smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) simulations, and applied these techniques to study planetary impacts.
