Profile
My research focuses on the sedimentology, diagenesis, and biogeochemistry of fine-grained sedimentary rocks. I investigate sedimentary processes, diagenetic evolution, and biogeochemical cycling to understand how interactions between Earth’s spheres under specific geological events control the formation of organic-rich mudstones and shales. Current study areas primarily include the Yangtze Craton and the Bohai Bay Basin.
