Profile

I completed my BSc in Biological Sciences at the University of Warwick, during which I carried out a 12 month placement at the Millennium Seed Bank, Kew. During my technical career, I have worked at Rothamsted Research where I supported the analysis of wheat dietary fibre, and at Coventry University where I was involved with teaching and research activities across the biomedical sciences. In 2025 I joined the University of Leeds and the School of Food Science & Nutrition as a Research Support Technician in alternative protein processing.

Research interests

I currently support projects that study non-animal sources of protein, funded by the National Alternative Protein Innovation Centre (NAPIC). My main focus will be on food processing technology, as well as providing general support in the extraction and analysis of research samples.
