The Explorers Summer Social 2022

Network with fellow Natural Historians from different backgrounds.

The Natural History Museum’s Explorer Programme and The Geological Society welcomes undergraduates, postgraduates, academics, and professionals from Black, Asian, Arab and other racially marginalised backgrounds (i.e. People of Colour) in the Natural History sector to the first “Summer Social”. This event is an opportunity to meet other Natural Historians of colour, hear fellows talk about their research, take part in group discussion, attend skills workshops, and build networking skills. This is a free event that will be hosted in person at the Geological Society, Burlington House in London. Guests travelling from outside of London will be reimbursed for their travel.
