BogFilmFest

BogFilmFest celebrates the importance of peatlands through film. Hyde Park Book Club will host four short films, discussion, and music as part of the series.

Do you love films and care about the environment?

You can take part in an extraordinary event coming to Leeds to celebrate the importance of peatlands – the BogFilmFest.

Three fun events are being held across the north of England in the lead up to International Bog Day by the WaterLANDS team and the Great North Bog coalition.

The events aim to encourage new audiences to discover why peatlands matter and find out about how teams are working hard to restore them.

Short films

The Leeds-based event is on Thursday 15 July at Hyde Park Book Club, Headingley.

It’ll include four short films about our enigmatic peatlands and their connections to human and planetary wellbeing, followed by a lively discussion with directors and artists, then live music.

Book your ticket via Eventbrite and experience the magic of the peatlands.
