This event will take place online. In order to join in, access this link at the time of the event.

Who are the speakers?

Dr Lisa Gatenby (Nutritionist)

As a nutritionist and food enthusiast, my main interests are around encouraging people to eat tasty and healthy food.  I started my career in catering and food development and worked in the catering and food industry for 8 years. I am able to use this knowledge to develop healthy menus for both businesses and individuals. I then studied a Masters of Medical science in Human Nutrition and completed a PhD at Hull University on children’s nutritional intakes.

After my PhD I worked at the University for 8 years in Research and as a Lecturer in Nutrition on both undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes. I also worked in Public Health at Leeds City Council, where I set up various programmes to help reduce health inequalities and improve the nutrition of at needs groups with the area.

For the last 10 years I have being working on a consultancy basis, offering food and nutritional advice to companies and individuals. I deliver training and corporate wellbeing sessions as well as the RSPH qualifications in Food and Nutrition. I also undertake specialist work on complex medical cases, providing a person-centred approach to support the adoption of a healthy balanced diet, controlling weight and supporting healthy development through good nutrition and healthy lifestyle habits.

Natasha Evans BA(Hons) Account Manager, (Spoon Guru)
LinkedIn

I've had a diverse career to date, starting off in private equity and consultancy, before moving in-house into tech. I have now been working in tech for 5 years, starting off with forecasting and analytics at graze.com, before joining Spoon Guru in a commercial role 2 years ago. Spoon Guru combines AI and ML technology with nutritional science to improve the health and lives of millions. We started off as an app, to help people find foods for their dietary requirements, but now partner with grocers worldwide to power a suite of different health & wellness products. I'm an Account Manager at Spoon Guru, but the nature of working for a startup means I have a very broad remit!
