Food Science summer school success
The School held its 4th annual Food Science Summer School in June, where 38 students from all over the UK visited us for the 3 day event.
Improving nutritional knowledge in South Africa
Students and staff from the School went on a volunteering trip with GAGA UK to South Africa, where they helped to improve the nutritional knowledge of local communities.
Nutrition student completes GB Olympic team triumvirate
Congratulations to Gordon Benson, currently studying for a BSc in Nutrition, for being selected as part of Team GB’s Olympic Triathlon men’s squad, going to Rio alongside Alistair and Jonny Brownlee.

For the second year running, Daniel Clarke (2nd Year, BSc Food Science and Nutrition) has been awarded an IFST (Institute of Food Science and Technology) Young Ambassador Prize.
