Profile

I completed an MPhys in Theroretical Physics from the University of Leeds in 2017. I am now a joint PhD student jointly funded between University of Leeds, Newcastle University and DEFRA.

Research interests

I am researching mathematical models of infectious tree disease, the project involves stat and PDE reaction diffusion equations. The goal of this PhD is to using mathematical modelling and computational approaches to inform UK government policy makers on effective control policies to help prevent invasive tree disease casusing damage to the UK landscape and ecology.

I am interested in using novel scientific techqnuiqes, inverse methods such as machine learniing and PDEs to address ecosystem sustainibility.
