Profile

• Providing operational support to the CDRC Directors and academics comprising the CDRC Co-Investigator Team. This will include co-ordinating team meetings and providing minutes, and arranging travel, as and when required;

• Co-ordinating CDRC reporting of its main KPIs to the ESRC, obtaining statistics of performance against KPIs from effective tracking through systems such as ResearchFish and the CDRC User Log.

• Supporting the CDRC Teaching Fellow in co-ordinating the Centre’s annual short courses training programme, including resourcing the training programme for each academic year to meet demand; creating and maintaining training costs summaries in liaison with Finance; handling bookings; carrying out pre- and post- training communications with bookers; obtaining feedback from course attendees;

• Working with the Centre Manager and Data Scientist subteam to track the progress of new user applications for the CDRC-Leeds data service by ensuring that the user log is kept up-to-date at all times and that electronic paperwork is correctly filed;

• Providing support to the CDRC Communications and Public Engagement Manager as directed (e.g. content for X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and the CDRC website, as well as providing administrative support at CDRC events);

• Assisting CDRC staff with the booking of meeting rooms and catering orders, and processing goods and services orders, as directed;

• Working with minimum supervision to manage own workload but also work collaboratively to provide effective administrative support and ensure activities feed into the effective and efficient running of CDRC;

• Taking responsibility for the ongoing development of systems and processes to ensure the effective reporting of CDRC, including managing the annual ResearchFish submission;

• Effectively managing the CDRC email inbox in collaboration with colleagues from CDRC-UCL (CDRC-Leeds’s sister service) and respond to and resolve/redirect incoming requests and initial data applications;

• Actively participating in CDRC team meetings in order to exchange knowledge and information and contribute to group-based decisions and activities.
