Profile
I am a first year PhD student working on the project Back to the Future: Ice Sheet Collapse, Ocean Circulation Slowdown, and Abrupt Climate Change, with a particular focus on the 8.2 kyr event.
I am funded by ARIA through the Forecasting Tipping Points programme and work within the VERIFY team. The programme investigates past abrupt climate events to improve the ability to detect and anticipate future tipping points. This forms part of a broader initiative to develop an early warning system for climate tipping elements.
Prior to my PhD, I completed a BSc in Natural Sciences, majoring in Mathematics and Environmental Sciences, with a particular focus on atmospheric and climate modelling.
