Profile

I am a first year PhD student based in the Atmospheric and Cloud Dynamics research group within the Institute for Climate and Atmospheric Science. I previously completed an intergrated master’s degree in mathematics at the University of Nottingham.

I work with Professor Douglas Parker, Dr Andrew Ross and Dr Matthew Clark from the Met Office, researching processes that lead to severe weather embedded within extratopical cyclones, specifically when in cool-season, maritime environments.

I am currently looking at the environmental conditons required for frontal cyclonegenesis and tornadogenesis and the mechanisms involved.
