Fanhui Dong

Profile

I am a second-year PhD candidate in the School of Earth and Environment at the University of Leeds. My research lies in the fields of climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction. My PhD project focuses on understanding community involvement in wildfire risk reduction in high-latitude areas. I will specifically focus on Indigenous people in the north of Canada. My PhD project explores a sharing partnership between communities and other stakeholders for wildfire risk reduction. I am also interested in social contract understanding and power distribution in climate change adaptation.
