Profile

I am a third-year PhD student at the University of Leeds, part of the fourth cohort of NERC SENSE CDT. My research focus on high cloud radiative effects in the Tropical Pacific.

In my current research, I use satellite data to investigate the factors that influence how clouds interact with incoming solar radiation and outgoing radiation from the Earth. I focus on a region known as the Intertropical Convergence Zone in the Pacific Ocean, which plays a key role in climate phenomena such as the El Niño Southern Oscillation.

Background

I have an integrated bachelor (first) and masters equivalent in Physics from National University of Cordoba, Argentina, where I developed a strong interest in clouds, atmospheric physics, satellite data analysis, and machine learning as a tool. My qualification is “Licenciada en Fisica” (MSc in Physics)
