I am now a first year PGR in ICAS from School of Earth and Environment. My supervisors are Professor Amanda Maycock and Dr Chetan Deva.
Research interests
In reading, my master dissertation is about Deep learning explainability analysis for predicting the Nino3.4 index. Now, my study is to understand the mechanism of ENSO change , improve the prediction method, and explore whether it is explainable in prediction. The study can improve the prediction ability of ENSO and obtain better prediction results based on previous studies. At the same time, it can study the effects of interactions on ENSO changes in regions other than the tropical Pacific. As well as exploring the role of DL in ENSO prediction and mechanism studies.
