Profile
I am a PhD candidate at the School of Earth and Environment, specialising in the study of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within UK and Chinese Higher Education. With over a decade of experience in the international higher education sector, I served as Head of Business Development at Shanghai Ranking from 2020 to 2023, contributing to the development of the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) and the Best Chinese Universities Ranking (BCUR).
Throughout my career, I have gained substantial experience in higher education performance evaluation, student mobility, transnational education (TNE), international outreach, and branding programs. These professional experiences and networks have provided me with valuable insights and highlighted critical research opportunities and gaps. Driven by these insights, I returned to academia to explore these areas further and enhance my academic expertise.
