Profile
I joined the University of Leeds in October 2019 to begin my PhD project in atmospheric science with Professor Martyn Chipperfield and Dr Richard Pope. My background is in environmental geoscience from Durham University, specialising in wastewater treatment geochemistry. I am part of the 2019 cohort of the NERC Panorama Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) (https://panorama-dtp.ac.uk/).
My PhD project looks at tropospheric air pollutants using satellite data and the TOMCAT chemistry transport model. It aims to give us a better understanding of how these pollutants have influenced European air quality over the last few decades.
