Profile

My research aims to understand how the different types of impacts from a volcanic eruption can change nearby vegetation and how this change can be detected through satellite data. It also aims to look at the recovery process of vegetation in these areas and determine if the eruption has long lasting changes which may be detected through satellite data. I will be dealing mostly with optical and SAR data.

I am part of the Sense CDT - Centre for satellite data in environmental science, funded by NERC and the UK space agency
