Profile
I am a Professor of Micropalaeontology and Chair of the Neogene and Quaternary Planktonic Foraminifera Working Group of the International Commission on Stratigraphy
My research is at the interface of palaeobiology and palaeoclimatology. Using the marine plankton fossil record I investigate evolutionary trends, the interactions between species and the response of organisms to environmental change.
I joined the University of Leeds as a lecturer in 2014. Prior to this I obtained my PhD from Cardiff University in 2011 before undertaking a post doctoral research position in Cardiff (2011) and a research fellowship at the University of Oxford (2013).
