Profile
I am a research assistant in geothermal energy, working as part of the Geosolutions Centre. I grew up near to Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, where I first studied geology at Greenhead College. I went on to complete a BSc in Applied Geology at Camborne School of Mines in Cornwall. After a few years working in other fields, I returned to geoscience by studying for a MSc in Applied Geoscience (GeoEnergy) at the University of Edinburgh. My dissertation was on the numerical modelling of a deep, closed-loop geothermal system, and this work led on to a published paper.
