Francesco Rappisi

Profile

I completed my PhD at the University of Padova in 2022, where I worked on a project involving geodynamic and seismological modelling. Using different inversion techniques, I studied the effect that neglecting seismic anisotropy has on the tomographic images and how to use anisotropy to infer mantle dynamics.

At Leeds, I am working on a project that studies subduction zones – and the seismic hazard they pose -- through the observation of remote seismic data.
