Profile

I am the Nature Based Solutions Project Officer for the Leeds Ecosystem, Atmosphere, and Forest (LEAF) centre at the University of Leeds. My role focuses on Gair Wood, the University’s new woodland creation project and Living Laboratory in north Leeds. I am working in collaboration with the University of Leeds, United Bank of Carbon (UBoC) and the White Rose Forest (WRF) to design and deliver practical conservation tasks at Gair Wood with volunteer students, staff and members of the local community to ensure successful establishment of the new woodland.

This role builds upon my practical nature conservation experience as a Conservation Trainee with Durham Wildlife Trust, working alongside volunteers to support local nature restoration efforts.
