Profile

I am a Research Fellow in the School of Earth and Environment at the University of Leeds. Prior to my current position, I completed my PhD at the University of Sheffield, under the supervision of Professor Martin Mayfield and Dr Hadi Arbabi. My thesis focuses on the application of a multimodal and transfer learning approach for predicting the residential building energy performance, using EPCs and street view images.

Currently, I am working on an interdisciplinary project – Co-creating visions and pathways for integrated urban heat systems -  exploring sustainable pathways that transform urban energy system for a decarbonised future. In particular, I aim to explore the complex interactions between different stakeholders through data analysis and visualisations. The research team collect data through participatory workshops and in-situ inspections, to analyse and visualise the data in respect of geographical, socio-demographic, and governmental characteristics using GIS and Agent-based modelling.
