Profile
I worked in the University of Leeds as a Research Fellow from 2017 to 2022. In Jan 2023, I moved to Hohai University and was appointed as Professor of geochemistry in the College of Oceanography.
Research interests
My research focuses on isotope stratigraphy and palaeoenvironmental reconstruction at key bioradiation intervals and mass extinction events in the Earth history. Factors of interest include both long-term and short-term variations in marine redox conditions, biogeochemical cycling of elements and their interaction with the biosphere. My current research projects target on the oxygenation history and nutrient cycling in the Early Jurassic ocean and during the Cambrian radiation of animals.
Projects: Integrated Understanding of Early Jurassic Earth System and Timescale (JET)
