Profile
Damian is a fluent speaker of Mandarin Chinese with many years experience of living and working in China. He has previously conducted research on the formulation and application of certain aspects of Chinese social policy. Damian is currently developing research interests in the field of environmental policy and law in China, with particular reference to corporate social responsibility and sustainable enterprise. His responsibilities at the School of Earth and Environment include managing a number of undergraduate degree programmes and teaching a number of modules at postgraduate and undergraduate levels that focus on various aspects of environmental issues and CSR in China. He is also responsible for development of the school's research and teaching links with Chinese universities and research institutes.
