Profile
I am Research Fellow in Climate Change Impacts on Food Safety working in the AMBROSIA EU Horizon Project.
My academic journey began in September 2011, when I enrolled in the bachelor’s program in Geography at the University of the Aegean, in Mytilene, Greece (2011-2015). Early in my studies, I developed a strong interest in meteorology and climatology, which guided me to pursue an MSc (2015-2017) and subsequently a PhD (2018-2022) at the Department of Meteorology and Climatology, Aristolte University of Thessaloniki, Greece.
In July 2022 I was awarded my PhD for my dissertation entitled: “Estimating errors and uncertainties of precipitation in regional climate simulations over southern Africa: investigation of physical processes”.
