Associate Professor Timothy Andrews

Profile

I am an Associate Professor of Atmospheric Science at the University of Leeds and an Expert Scientist in Climate Science at the Met Office Hadley Centre. I hold a joint Met Office – Leeds position as part of the Met Office Academic Partnership (MOAP). I study large-scale multi-decadal climate change processes, including heat uptake, radiative forcing and climate feedbacks on a regional to global-scale. I use observations, theory and climate modelling of these processes to understand the causes and mechniams of climate change and to make better informed climate projections.
