Profile
I am a research fellow funded by the UK Met Office on the project: Climate Science for Service Partnership Brazil (CSSP-Brazil). I study the local and regional impacts of tropical forest loss on climate, using satellite observations, regional and global climate models and machine learning techniques. I have laterly obtained my PhD in “The impacts of tropical deforestation on local and regional climate” from the University of Leeds in 2023.
