I am the Communications Manager for the Global Food and Environment Institute (GFEI).

GFEI is an interdisciplinary research institute for all food system-related research at the University of Leeds.

I specialise in translating complex research into engaging, accessible content for diverse global audiences.

I collaborate with researchers to understand their work and showcase it in a way that is informative and engaging.

My expertise includes developing strategic communication plans, creating content for various platforms, and managing all communications outputs on behalf of GFEI.

I co-lead an interdisciplinary research communications network for colleagues working in interdisciplinary research communications. We meet monthly to discuss ideas and share best practice.

I also co-deliver a monthly drop-in session for all interdisciplinary researchers and research professionals at the University of Leeds to drop in and ask their research communications questions.

This function allows colleagues to ask questions and learn how to more effectively deliver interdisciplinary research communications.
