I am a critical human geography lecturer in the School of Geography at the University, with a research agenda centered on urban geography in sub-Saharan Africa. My work engages with a range of socio-spatial issues, including sustainable infrastructures, governance, livelihood strategies among marginalized urban populations, food systems, and the dynamics of urban commons.
Research interests
Sustainable urban agriculture in Africa,urban gardens in Africa, food resilience, natural disasters and management in South African countries.
