Profile
I am a Research Fellow at the Institute for Transport Studies, University of Leeds, where I have been working since February 2026. Prior to this, I was a Research Fellow with the EPE Research Group at the University of Southampton (August 2024 – Feb 2026). During this period, I contributed to several major UK-funded research projects, including UNIFORM (unifying grid-following and grid-forming control in inverter-based resources), SOLIMM (solar irrigation modelling and monitoring), and CLEAR (Campus Level Environmental Awareness and Reporting), serving as Co-Investigator on multiple initiatives. Earlier, I served as a faculty member at the National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh.
I received my M.Tech. in Advanced Power Systems (2019) from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada and my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (2024) from Jadavpur University, India. I am a recipient of the Best Paper Award at SPECon 2024 and the Best Paper Award at the IEEE Power & Energy Society General Meeting 2025.
Research interests
My research interests include renewable energy integration, intelligent monitoring systems, sustainable EV charging infrastructure development, digital twins, green transportation, inverter-based resource control (IBRs), power quality, microgrids, and smart grids.
