This project aims to work with people in the community to help find in how we can make research on what people eat more become more inclusive of foods eaten in real life, including cultural and traditional dishes. This is important because what people eat is often linked to how healthy they are.
Our project will include people from different ethnicities who attend community services in Leeds. We will work together to openly share views on how such research is undertaken, the tools used, and what needs improving.
Impact
In future we hope to use the findings of our research to inform larger studies and to develop more inclusive methods to capturing what people eat in real life.
