Soil Sustainability: From Biogeochemistry to Business

Jess is a Lecturer at Lancaster University’s Pentland Centre for Sustainability in Business: an interdisciplinary research centre that works directly with businesses to co-develop science-based sustainable solutions. Jess will talk about the two sides to her work: biogeochemistry and business, and how these two connect. She will present some of her research on integrating carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus cycles in terrestrial ecosystems and her experience of engaging global businesses with issue of soil sustainability.
