We are excited to be hosting ‘Transport in a climate crisis’ in the Institute for Transport Studies on Thursday 27th March.
Recognising transport’s role is key to tackling global warming. Sessions on the day include:
- Tackling misinformation around climate and transport
- How to adapt our curriculum to incorporate climate change
- Eco-anxiety: A workshop on understanding and supporting yourself through it
- How researchers are responding to changing travel habits for a more sustainable future.
Plus, join us for a keynote lecture from Dr Hannah Ritchie, University of Oxford, followed by a panel of leading academics at the University of Leeds to discuss ‘Urgent Optimism in a Warming World.’
This event is a great chance to connect with staff and students working on these critical challenges.
