Profile
I am currently in my final year as a postgraduate researcher at the School of Food Science and Nutrition, University of Leeds. My academic journey has been greatly enriched by my teaching experience as a former lecturer at the College of Applied Medical Sciences, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
My present research is centred on my PhD thesis, which explores the concept of dietary resemblance between parents and their primary-school-age children, utilizing a mixed-method approach. I believe that the outcomes of my thesis may offer valuable insights into the field of children’s nutrition behaviour, with the potential to guide policymakers and practitioners toward more effective interventions aimed at enhancing public health.
As I approach the final phase of my postgraduate journey, I eagerly anticipate opportunities for further collaborations, knowledge sharing, and the chance to contribute to the field of food science and nutrition in a meaningful and lasting way.
