Profile

I completed my BA in Politics, Institut Pemerintahan Dalam Negeri in 2012 and followed by MSc in Public Policy, University of Bristol in 2016. I started my PhD at University of Leeds, School of Geography in November 2022, funded by Beasiswa Pendidikan Indonesia (Indonesia Education Scholarship). I am lecturer at Faculty of Governmental Politics, Institut Pemerintahan Dalam Negeri since 2020.

Research interests

My primary research interest is related to intersection between politics, policy and migration. My undergraduate thesis focusing on policy implementation of bureaucratical structures changes in Purworejo Regency, Indonesia. It elaborated its prospects and challenges. Furthermore, my master dissertation, I analysed the utilization of social media for promoting transparency and public participation as digital world is borderless.

For my PhD, I intend to analyses migration policy in Indonesia. It will focus on refugees management and policy in Indonesia as a non-signatory country to the Refugee Convention.
